Our Staff

We’re in the midst of another semester and the region’s wealth of schools produce an impressive cadre of qualified graduates. Along the way, during their studies, many of them tour our facilities on Battery Street, gaining insights of a video facility, understanding the workflow and meeting various professionals. Once in awhile, they run into famous people!

We’re always flattered that people come to visit our downtown San Francisco production complex. We thought we’d share our house by showing you the welcome video that greets the students.

For those of you who know us personally, you’ll see the usual suspects. For those who don’t, then meet the folks behind the brand. Welcome to our house and enjoy your stay.

Come down; we're always open! We do group tours both large and small. One tour group experience our Edit Suites.

Tours

Beyond Pix Studios Facility Overview:

Our downtown San Francisco location is the heart of the company’s operations. It is an 18,000 square foot space that occupies four floors and houses our production offices, business offices, production equipment, live studios and Post Department. The building is also home to our Creative Services Department and a number of independent producers. It is one of the largest film and video complexes in the region.

We also own and operate the largest soundstage in San Francisco, @Bayshore. Located in San Francisco's Bayshore District, the stage offers 5000 square feet of production space.

Community and Industry Outreach:

Over the years we’ve hosted numerous class tours for students in grades ranging from elementary school to college. We take this role seriously, as we know how influential field trips can be for bright young minds, and we do our best to give the students an insightful look into our film and video operations.

Our guides give a comprehensive tour of our facility. Along the way, several members of the staff give a short lecture on their role in the company, often sharing the path they took to become a professional in the industry. On some occasions, the students may even bump into a celebrity or witness an actual “live shot” while we’re on the air with one of several national or international networks.

It is this personal, down-to-earth approach that has earned us the reputation for hosting memorable and rewarding field trips for these students. We take pride in our work, and we are excited to share our passion for film and video with the next generation of thinkers.

Beyond Pix Studios Tour Arrangements:

We frequently receive requests for class tours, but unfortunately we can’t accommodate them all. However, you are welcome to submit a request to danielle@beyondpix.com. We always try to make tours possible, as they are an important way for us to give back to the community. We know how meaningful these tours are because of the feedback we’ve received, and we are excited to have the opportunity to inspire young minds.

    Celebrating our 21st Birthday

Our friends and families are scattered all over the world so it’s impossible to gather everyone in one place to throw a party. When Beyond Pix first began in 1992, the Internet was barely in the picture and today, it is the worldwide venue in which we’re hosting our virtual birthday party.

It’s been an incredible twenty years and as a media company, we’ve had the best seat in the house watching history unfold. In countless instances, we were there as it happened, training our cameras on the human drama and reporting it to the world.

We reflect on our past, in tandem with the dramatic events we’ve witnessed and realized that in our youth, we’ve lived through some of the most significant changes in global history. It isn’t just our story, it’s yours as well. We all share so much in common.

It’s often said that you’re only young once, but to us, we’ll always be young at heart. Thanks for being a part of our company, our success...our lives.
